About Marissa Touhey, LMT
Marissa Touhey is a Licensed Massage Therapist. An alumnus of The Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, Arizona, she graduated from a 750-hour massage program in 2008. She completed many hours of continuing education in sports massage, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, trigger point release, TMJ release, cancer massage, hot stones, pre and postnatal care, and aromatherapy. Her specialty deep tissue massage utilizes a sideline approach, which maximizes stretching to eliminate low back or upper body stressors, sciatica, and plantar fasciitis. Her expertise ensures that each client receives a tailored massage, prioritizing and actualizing their unique needs through personalized service.
